Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is release the 2015 budget in the Lok Sabha. To maintain the IT sector, the minister has apportion Rs.1000 crores to push IT start-ups in the country.
The government is also looking to boost start-ups in the sector with a liberalised system for set up capital. According to the minister, the government will be establishing a financial and gestation platform for tech start-ups.
The minister demands that this will not only help build new jobs, but also incentivise self recruitment and state of running a business with considerable initiative and risk. The minister announced the allocation of Rs.150 crore for the production of an IT Center.
Under the Digital India initiative, the national optical fibre network (NOFN) will be facilitate side to side the country. The plans to provide high-speed 100Mbps broadband connectedness to 2.5 lakh gram panchayats by December 2016.
